Refunds & Cancellation
How to cancel, what happens to your files, and when we give money back. Short version: cancel any time, keep the month you paid for, and tell us if something broke — we'd rather refund you than argue.

1. What we charge
All prices are in Australian dollars. There are two ways to pay for storage beyond the free tier: a monthly Pro subscription, or one-time pay-as-you-go hosting packs.
- Free tier
- Costs nothing. 1 GB of original storage, every tool included, no card required.
- Pro
- Billed monthly in advance through Stripe. 50 GB of original storage.
- 5 GB hosting pack
- One-time. Adds 5 GB for 12 months from purchase. Packs stack and work with or without a Pro subscription.
Current prices are on the pricing page; the amount Stripe shows at checkout before you pay is the authoritative price for that purchase.
2. Cancelling a Pro subscription
Cancel any time from your account’s billing settings — no email, no phone call, no retention script. When you cancel:
- Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You are not charged again.
- At the end of the period the workspace drops to the Free plan.
- You can resume before the period ends and nothing changes.
We do not prorate a partial month. Cancelling on day 3 of a billing month does not refund the remaining 27 days — you keep Pro for those 27 days instead. If a month’s charge landed and you genuinely never used it, ask us; see section 4.
Deleting your account is different from cancelling. Account deletion ends any active subscription immediately — the remaining paid time is not kept and is not automatically refunded (the deletion dialog warns you before you confirm). If you want the Pro time you paid for, cancel first and delete the account after the period ends. If a deletion caught you out mid-period, ask us — see section 4.
3. What happens to your files after you cancel
Nothing is deleted because you downgraded. Your originals, proxies, comments and share links stay exactly where they are.
If you are storing more than the Free plan’s 1 GB, your existing content keeps working and stays downloadable, but new uploads pause until you are back under the limit, buy a hosting pack, or resubscribe. We will not silently delete footage to make the numbers fit. If an account sits far over its allowance and unpaid for a long time we may eventually remove content — but only after emailing you first and giving you time to download it.
4. Refunds
We will refund you, no questions asked, when
- You were charged for a renewal you had already cancelled.
- You were charged twice for the same period.
- You subscribed by mistake and ask us within 14 days, having uploaded nothing new since.
- A fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for — uploads failing, processing stuck, the platform down for a meaningful stretch of your billing period.
Where a refund is at our discretion
- You used Pro for the month and then changed your mind. We will usually refund the most recent month for a first-time request; we will not refund month after month.
- A hosting pack you have already consumed storage against. If the pack is unused and bought within 14 days, we refund it in full.
Where we will not refund
- Months you used normally and simply forgot to cancel, beyond the most recent one.
- Accounts we suspended or terminated for breaching the Terms of Service.
- Dissatisfaction with a feature you could have tested on the Free plan first — every tool is available on Free.
5. Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where we fail to meet a consumer guarantee you may be entitled to a remedy — including a refund for a major failure — regardless of anything above. Nothing on this page limits those rights.
6. How to ask
Use the Contact us button in the corner of this page (or the “Report an issue” button anywhere in the app when signed in). Include the date and amount of the charge, and the email address on the account so we can find it and reply. We aim to reply within 3 business days and to process approved refunds within 10 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe; how quickly it appears is up to your bank.
7. Chargebacks
Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback locks the account while the dispute runs, which usually costs you more time than an email to us would.
8. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over a short window and emails you. If it keeps failing the subscription lapses and the workspace drops to Free — same as a cancellation, with nothing deleted.
